The assessment evaluates legality, necessity, scale and sensitivity of the transfer, overseas-recipient protection, contractual allocation and national-security / rights risks. Current thresholds and exemptions should be checked under the latest cross-border rules.
The correct export mechanism can change depending on the data category, handler status and volume. Security assessment is one route, not the default route for every transfer.
