WHAT 营业执照 MEANS

What 营业执照 means

A company is issued a business licence after registration. The licence records key items such as name, domicile, registered capital, business scope and legal representative, and its issue date is the company’s establishment date.

!
Why the role matters

It is a first-line due-diligence document, but it does not by itself prove licensing for every regulated activity. Sector permits, filings and current registry data may still need to be checked.
