Who We Are
We build the bridge between people who need cross-border legal help and the professionals who can deliver it — with transparency and trust.
No foreign national or overseas business should feel lost in China’s legal system — and no Chinese client should struggle to find qualified representation abroad.
Our mission
China Legal Portal exists to make cross-border legal services accessible, transparent, and understandable. We are not a law firm. We do not provide legal advice. We are a bridge — connecting people with the legal professionals they need.
Who we serve
International clients
Foreign nationals, expatriates, and overseas businesses needing English-speaking, vetted lawyers across practice areas in China.
Find China lawyers →Chinese clients
Individuals, companies, and law firms seeking qualified international lawyers for overseas matters and co-counsel arrangements.
Find international lawyers →Our story
Built to close a real gap on both sides of the border
-
01
The problem
International clients in China had no reliable English-first way to find vetted lawyers. Embassy lists were incomplete; Chinese-only directories were hard to use; word-of-mouth was uneven.
-
02
The mirror problem
Chinese clients seeking overseas counsel faced the same opacity — no centralized, transparent directory of international lawyers oriented to China-related needs.
-
03
The platform
We built China Legal Portal as a bilingual directory: verified profiles, practice and city filters, practical legal guides, and direct contact — without intermediary markups.
