Current-law scope and cautions
- The Women’s Rights and Interests Protection Law prohibits employers from restricting women in recruitment except for legally unsuitable work and prohibits asking about marriage/childbearing status as a hiring condition.
- There is no general nationwide statutory “female employee quota” for ordinary employers; this tool therefore does not invent one.
- Pregnancy, maternity and lactation protections create separate employment-management duties after hiring.
Use: This is a screening/estimation tool, not a legal opinion. Confirm the latest primary authority, regulator practice, local rules and transaction documents before acting.
