Why this builder is China-focused
PRC Civil Code Article 501 imposes confidentiality duties regarding trade secrets and other confidential information learned during contracting even if a contract is never formed. Current commercial-secret rules also recognize confidentiality obligations created by contracts and by other reasonable confidentiality measures.
The builder therefore focuses on defining protected information, limiting permitted use, controlling onward disclosure, preserving evidence and making the protected transaction clear. It does not insert an employment-style non-compete by default.
