China has signed more than 140 BITs, one of the largest networks in the world, and the protections they contain vary significantly in scope. Mr. Wang maps each treaty's substantive standards — fair and equitable treatment, protection against uncompensated expropriation, national treatment and most-favoured-nation treatment — and its procedural route to arbitration. He understands the procedural mechanisms of the International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes (ICSID) and represents corporate investors facing uncompensated state expropriation, discriminatory measures, or regulatory breaches by host governments.
Third, environmental litigation and ESG compliance. Mr. Wang has built a specialized practice in international environmental compliance and cross-border environmental tort litigation. He advises corporations on carbon credit trading compliance, cross-border supply chain environmental audits, and adherence to international sustainability standards such as the Equator Principles.
