Supreme People's Court guidance

For a parent with fixed income, child support may generally be set at 20%–30% of total monthly income. Where support is owed for two or more children, the proportion may be appropriately increased but generally should not exceed 50% of monthly total income.

For a parent without fixed income, courts may use annual total income or the average income of the relevant industry as a reference and apply the same general approach. Special circumstances can justify an increase or decrease.
