Concealing proceeds is generally up to three years, or three to seven years where serious; the 2025 interpretation distinguishes ordinary upstream crimes from crimes whose own amount threshold is relatively high. For ordinary upstream crimes, RMB500,000 plus a listed aggravating circumstance can support the serious tier, while RMB250,000 loss can independently do so; higher RMB5m / RMB2.5m references apply to the high-threshold upstream category.
