Outbound investment · multi-jurisdiction screening
Map the investor, target, ownership and control rights, sensitive activities, technology, data, land, government links, financing and transaction timetable before selecting each destination screening route and the China-side outbound-investment workstream.
Separate jurisdiction and control questions
Destination-country investment screening, merger control, sector approvals and China-side outbound-investment authority are separate workstreams. A clearance or filing conclusion in one jurisdiction does not answer another jurisdiction’s question.
Source routes checked 21 August 2026. Rules, thresholds, lists, procedures and guidance can change.
